PROCUREMENT AGGREGATION PLATFORM

What is our proposal of the Aggregation Platform ?

The Procurement Aggregation Platform is a platform that offers savings by utilizing aggregating purchasing volume to negotiate better prices with manufacturers, distributors and other vendors. 


Since Fideren is dedicated to the renewable energy projects, we can offer our members the most updated and efficient modules with optimized pricing and conditions. We apply this savings concept to utility-scale and community solar project developers, EPCs and renewable asset owners. 


As the solar modules market is in constant evolution (new products, new technologies, availability issues, and legislation changes), we organize quarterly RFPs to consider our members' future needs and ensure they have access to the most exciting products. Based on the aggregated volumes, Fideren will negotiate the best terms and conditions, manage the contracting and ensure the contract management on behalf of our members.  

How do we select the module we propose to our members every quarter?

The solar energy market is very competitive, and obviously, price is a key criteria in selecting a module. However it is not the only criteria and must be combined with other considerations. 


Module efficiency and reliability, yield impact and construction cost impact will be taken into account at the moment of selection, to ensure that Fideren will propose the most suitable module, which will bring the best value for the developers, EPCs and asset owners.  

How can you become a member of our Procurement Aggregation Platform ?

As a first step, you need to pre-register your company at the end of this section. 


Then we will contact you and request additional information and documentation (including a membership agreement signature), to finalize your registration.


Once you become a member of our Platform, we will inform you about each RFP in preparation and you will have the opportunity to aggregate your volumes in our RFPs and access to our negotiated conditions.

What is the business model of our Procurement Aggregation Platform?

Fideren requires no membership fee or no spend obligation to join the Platform. We trust in our capacity to obtain the best product at the best price.


Fideren Aggregation Platform services will be financed through 2 distinct fees:

  • a non-refundable administrative fee for each participation of a member to an RFP. 
  • a success fee, proportional to the volume ordered by each member, when the supply agreement is signed by the seller and the member.


Fees are only paid by the members and Fideren does not receive any payment from vendors.


For reason of confidentiality, the fees amount will be fully transparent to our members, after the signature of the membership agreement, which includes a non-disclosure. Therefore, we can ensure our members that our fees are very competitive and will not jeopardize our member's savings.

BESS Procurement

Based on our recent experiences in BESS and our contact network with specialist integrators, we can provide a full range of procurement services for your BESS. Whatever you are a developer, an EPC company, or an asset owner, Fideren can support you in your BESS procurement needs.

  • Management of the relationships with integrators,
  • Request for proposals (for cost estimation purpose or project execution),
  • Commercial terms negotiation, in line with the procurement strategy, agreed with the client,
  • Contracting support,
  • Manufacturing progress follow-up.

Owner's representative

 As asset owner, negotiating a competitive EPC service is the first step to ensure the profitability of your project and we can be your solution to lead the procurement process and get the price you need. It is important  to keep control of your asset's construction, and we will supervise the project's construction on your behalf.


We offer the following services:


  • Technical support (engineering review, commissioning) through local partners,
  • Project management (schedule, cost),
  • Quality control on site,
  • Safety supervision on site,
  • Project administration (claim, change orders, documentation),
  • Owner's resources training and hand-over.
  • Consulting, training and coaching of buyers.
